Description
This dataset contains some of the records from the Malcolm Barcant Butterfly specimens from the Family Pieridae. They are housed at the Angostura Museum and Butterfly Collection, Laventille, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 458 records.

Specimens were collected by sweep netting or were bred by Malcolm Barcant or associates.

Method step description:
- 1. Specimens in the collection were assessed for existing data (labels in jars, details in registers, etc,) 2. Identifications were confirmed or made using a variety of literature sources (scientific papers, books, online resources) 3. Specimens were photographed and properly stored then the data was uploaded to the UWIZM Past Perfect database.
