収集方法
For the BMHS, there is no field sampling, as specimens are donated to the museum for various sources. Unfortunately, not ever specimen donated is given a proper sampling record by the donor upon receipt of the specimen.
| Study Extent | The extent of the study is confined to the collections which have already been donated to the museum since it's conception in 1933. |

Method step description:
- Each specimen has an ownership record when it's donated to the museum. After being received the specimens are stored with research done for the classification. Items are then measured and photographed before entry into the database for publication.
