This resource contains an up-to-date dataset of the amphibians and reptiles of Agusan Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary since the first herpetological inventory of the Agusan Basin was conducted a century ago.

Métodos de Amostragem

Visual Encounter Surveys were conducted by experienced fieldworkers to identify and record species occurrences in three major habitat types (peat swamp, freshwater swamp, and mixed swamp). Collected specimens were photographed in life, their microhabitats recorded, and their positions georeferenced.

Área de Estudo Field surveys were conducted within peat swamp, freshwater swamp, and mixed swamp forests within each of the Municipalities of San Francisco, Rosario, Bunawan, Talacogon, and Loreto in the Province of Agusan del Sur, Caraga Region, Mindanao, Philippines.
