Description
The present dataset is the Documentation of Plant Diversity of Dumurjala Stadium, Howrah, West Bengal, India , Howrah, West Bengal, India is published by Nature Mates-Nature Club. Dumurjala is located in Howrah, West Bengal, India and encompasses an area of around 55 acres. Dumurjala, known as the "lungs of Howrah," is a large open region with a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife. It also contains several small water bodies and forest areas. Many wildlife photographers and environmentalists frequently visit this site since it is also a visiting point for many birds. This dataset specifically includes all the Plant species recorded during a field survey in Dumurjala. All the species were identified up to the species or genus level. A total of 164 species of plants were recorded belonging to 56 families and 30 orders.
