The monitoring is focused on the impact of human activities, i.e. eco-tourism and climate change on amphibians. Most records concern sightings and calls. A few interesting specimens were collected and compose this dataset. People involved in the monitoring were/are Paul Ouboter, Gaitrie Satnarain, Vanessa Kadosoe and Rawien Jairam.

Most records concern sightings and calls. A few interesting specimens were collected and compose this dataset.
Etendue de l'étude | The Brownsberg Nature Park was sampled 10 times, usually in the rainy and dry season. |
---|---|
Contrôle qualité | The data was identified with the use of field guides and or amphibian call libraries. |
Description des étapes de la méthode:
- 1. The amphibians were collected using line transects during night and day surveys. Reptiles were collected by hand when encountered. 2. The specimens were labeled in the field and after identification a collection number was assigned to each specimen. 3. The specimens were first preserved in formaldehyde and then transferred into 70% Ethanol. 4. All specimens were identified to species using literature and keys.
