Descrição

The dataset consists of geotagged and photographic observations of various trees, shrubs and climbers at the Mula river banks, from Wakad to Aundh in Pune (Maharashtra, India).The survey was carried out through an intensive citizen science project covering about 4 kilometers on both sides of the Mula river, where this pristine, dense and biodiversity-rich riparian forest is present, right at the heart of the city. The study involved more than 200 citizens and college students actively observing these flora over a period of five months, on almost all weekends including a few difficult rainy days. Botanical experts guided these observers in the survey for identification and later cleanse the data.
