Descrição
This dataset includes occurrence data of mammals on the Valparai Plateau and Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Tamil Nadu, India, collected between 2015 and 2018. Data were recorded on a mobile phone application as direct sightings or from indirect signs in the field. Photographs were taken whenever possible.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Descrição dos passos do método:
- The raw and curated datasets, along with photographs, were first uploaded to Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7008314). Using R code, the dataset was transformed into Darwin Core format for upload to GBIF. Individual counts were extracted from notes and manually entered in a separate column before upload.
- For version 1.1 image URLs (associatedMedia) and some locations and locality details corrected as described in version details.
