This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.

Cobertura Geográfica
The area for the botanical enumeration and sampling of plants (including trees, herbs, shrubs) was conducted in an area of 3.15 hactares in the CNR campus. The area includes the Organic Agriculture Orchard, Gawaling boys hostel campus and the forested area connecting these two places.

Métodos de Amostragem
In the sampled grid, the outer quadrat (20m X 20m) established randomly for enumeration of trees while inner quadrat (2m x 2m) plot was established to enumerate shrubs, and ground vegetation (herbs) respectively (DoFPS, 2020). The ropes and wooden pegs were used to layout the sampling plots in the field. 2 plots (quadrat) for the complete grids and 1 plot for the incomplete grids was randomly selected inside a sample grid for sampling. From the total of 28 sampled grids, data from the 24 grids were collected and the remaining 4 grids were left out without enumeration as the area fell under built-up area (new Gawaling Hostel) and no vegetation growth was encountered. Multiple visits were made in the study area after the main data collection for incidental recording of the species which may have been missed.
Área de Estudo | This checklist is from a small area within the campus of the College of Natural Resources in Bhutan |

Descrição dos passos do método:
- Plants recorded within the sample plots were identified by their morphological and field characters in the field. For those species which could not be identified in the field, specimens were collected and Flora of Bhutan and online resources like iNaturalist, PlantNet and Google Lens were used to identify specimens using photos. Online databases were also accessed for proper identification and accessing the current valid name as of on 28-05-2023. The angiosperm families are arranged according to APG IV system of classification (The Angiosperm Phylogeny Group, 2016). Gymnosperm families on the other hand are arranged according to Christenhusz, et al. (2011). The pteridophytes are arranged according to Smith, et al. (2006).
Metadados Adicionais
Introduction | The College of Natural Resources is spread over 39.68 hectares on the eastern slope of Lobesa, Punakha with an elevation of 1242 meters above sea level. The area is mostly covered with thick Chir Pine (Pinus roxburghii Sarg.) forest and has a diverse plant species as well. The inventory of the plant species in the institution has not been properly recorded and thus provide us with the opportunity to record the plant species. An inventory provides a complete set of information about a given area to create a list of species, habitat, land uses, etc in the area. The inventory of plant species in the college campus provides complete information about the different plant species prevalent in the campus providing better knowledge of the diversity and this also could be used for educational and research purposes in the field. The plant inventory covered all trees, shrub and herb species in a study area of 3.15 hectare inside the campus. The plant inventory was carried out using different research tools by designing study areas and methods to be adopted for the collection of data. The method of systematic random sampling laid in the study area provided the complete diversity of the area ensuring that most of the species are recorded (Pavlik, 2016). The complete checklist of the plant species would be very useful in deciding land use and conservation of biodiversity. |

Propósito | Plants belonging to 60 families were recorded during the survey. Highest number of species were recorded from the family Asteraceae , followed by Fabaceae and Solanaceae in the third. The largest number of species recorded from the family Asteraceae. |
