Geographic Coverage

The dataset covers agroforestry plots, nurseries, livestock facilities, and beekeeping sites located in Cheki 3 village, Sharie commune, Bunia city, Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Sampling Methods

Occurrence records were collected through direct field observations conducted by ADE‑CLIMATERRA staff in Cheki 3 village, Sharie commune, Bunia city, Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Date of observation was noted in the format 2026‑01‑31. Geographic coordinates were obtained using handheld GPS devices or mobile phones (WGS84). Organism quantity and type (e.g., number of individuals, colonies) were documented according to Darwin Core standards. This systematic approach ensures that the dataset is compatible with GBIF and international biodiversity repositories.

For each observation, the following steps were systematically applied by ADE‑CLIMATERRA staff in Cheki 3 village, Sharie commune, Bunia city, Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo: Recording of Data – Date of observation noted in the format 2026‑01‑31. Georeferencing – Geographic coordinates collected using handheld GPS devices or mobile phones (WGS84). Taxonomic Validation – Scientific names checked and harmonized according to Darwin Core standards. Quantification – Organism quantity and type documented (e.g., number of individuals, colonies).
